A twitter user has expressed shock after seeing various videos of Sunday Igboho speaking Yoruba instead of English Language as expected.
Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho came to limelight after he and his supporters gave a 7 days ultimatum to Fulani herdsmen living in Igangan to vacate the town located at Ibarapa North Local government area of Oyo state.
According to him, his decision to give this ultimatum was based on the fact that Fulani herdsmen have been accused of kidnappings, Killing and molesting of citizens in the region so he can't sit and watch his people suffer despite their cry to the government.
Ever since the ultimatum turned violent, the Self imposed freedom fighter has been releasing videos attacking politicians and others who have sabotaged efforts to make Oyo state and Nigeria a better to be.
Yesterday, Ovation Publisher Dele Momodu host Sunday Adeyemo on live chat to talk more about his struggle for Yoruba freedom in the hands of the herdsmen. While answering questions, Igboho who is not shy of his local dialect spoke in Yoruba from the beginning to the end of the program.
Due to this, the man through his twitter handle @gimbakakanda has seek for reason as to why Igboho always speak in Yoruba and not english language.
He said " Can this Sunday Igboho man even speak English? Yet to chance upon any video of him speaking English".
After saying this, Aisha yesufu replied to the tweet thereby expressing his opinion on the issue.
The female activist after going through the comments under the post accused those who dropped their comment of hypocrisy stating that people are always quick to use different yardsticks when it comes to defending their tribe.
In addition, She asked that is English not our official language anymore because Some people are defending Igboho's use of Yoruba language and not English.
Looking at Aisha's statement, it seems she does not encourage the fact that anyone should support Igboho on this matter just like they will not do to someone else from another tribe in his shoes but said she is a major Advocate of Mothers tongue being used in schools.
